Who doesn’t love Easter eggs? Filmmakers always work hard to sneak in clever little nods into their movies. That is exactly what George Lucas and Steven Spielberg did with their respective work. George Lucas’ Star Wars and Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones ensured to include plenty of Easter eggs for both the fandoms. So if you think Harrison Ford was the only thing common in both the sagas, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered.

In the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones has escaped from the tribe living on the island where he finds the golden idol. At the river banks, a plane is waiting for him. If you look closely, you can see plane’s number to be OB-CPO , a subtle nod to Obi Wan and C-3PO.

Another one is from The Temple of Doom. In the film’s opening scene, Indie escapes a nightclub in Shanghai. For those you didn’t notice the club’s name, it was Club Obi-Wan. Pretty easy we’d say.

Another one from the Raiders of the Lost Ark, this Easter egg was quite difficult to see. Indy lifts the lid off the sarchophagus and turns around to look at the pillar behind him. On the pillar, we can see C-3PO and R2-D2. But that’s not all from the movie. When Indy and Sally are preparing to remove the Ark, we can see a depiction of Princess Leia inserting the plans for Death Star into R2-D2 at the wall behind them.
