Gram Books Publications conducts workshop towards the upliftment of Hindi Language

Mumbai, 25 September, 2022: With the objective to improve the use of Hinglish being done by the children at present, Gram Books Publications conducted the workshop ‘One step for the upliftment of Hindi language’ at Hotel Parle International, Mumbai on 24th September, 2022.

The event expressed concerns about the participation being essential for the upliftment of the official language Hindi and it being natural for our responsibility to increase slightly in the context of New Education System (NEP). Participation of Hindi language teachers from many respected schools by becoming a helper in the upliftment of the official language was a pleasant deal at the event. The workshop included teaching Hindi in the context of National Policy on Education (NEP), New Hindi Standard Spelling, Innovation in Hindi Teaching, Generating logical thinking towards Hindi with a Glimpse of Skill Development in Lessons.

Dr. DV Singh with Dr. Jitendra Pandey spoke at this gracious event with an aim at encouraging not just the kids but grown ups too to increasingly adopt Hindi as their preferred language of communication – both verbal and written. Through a presentation, the workshop greatly briefed about using Hindi as an official language, how using simple words in Hindi can be useful during communicating officially as well, discussed about the salient features of language policy, terminology and practical grammar problems along with their solutions.

Ram Nayan Dubey from Lancers Academy, Pratibha Mishra from Jamnabai Nursey School, Ajit Upadhyay from SJC Poddar Academy ICSE, Sudhir Singh from Saint Mary ICSE School, Dinesh Singh from Scholars Foundation School and Ashok Yadav from Vibgyor Group of Schools were invited to the event. A great sense of belonging to the national language Hindi was felt by the 6 teachers and HOD’s from the Hindi department when they were honored on stage with Saraswat Samaan.

The participants were delighted as the workshop provided valuable information to work on the upliftment as well as it gave them an insight into certain interesting facts with regards to the Hindi language.

About the Speakers: Dr. DV Singh The creativity, personality and being known for the work of upliftment of Hindi from last 27 years. He is decorated with the degree of Masters and Vidya Vachaspati from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. So far, more than 850 Hindi teacher workshops have been successfully conducted in many countries including all over India and Gulf countries- Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai. Apart from this, NCERT, New Delhi; Central Directorate of Hindi, New Delhi; He has been associated with National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), New Delhi and many other institutions in the past. Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO), Agra has conducted Hindi workshops multiple times on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwada. Apart from this, he is the author of many grammar and Hindi reader books on Hindi subject. He has also been honored with many awards.

Dr. Jitendra Pandey Eminent scholar of Hindi subject. He has earned his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai. He has been honored with many awards including the Citizen and Sahitya Bhushan Samman of the Kendriya Rajbhasha Hindi Vikas Parishad. You have authored many books which include topics like criticism, travel remembrance etc. Apart from this, he has written many Hindi stories and articles. He has also been associated with Maharashtra State Textbook Preparation and Revision Committee, Pune.
