After 2015’s dud reboot of the long running arcade racing franchise Need For Speed, EA and Ghost Games are back with the new edition NFS, the Need For Speed Payback. It’s coming on November 10th, 2017 and is said to take cues from the Fast and Furious movie franchise.

The requirements were first revealed by Nvidia, so there’s a possibility the game would be optimized for the GeForce hardware. Also, Nvidia would be the first one to come up with the launch day graphics drivers. expect the game to run better on your Nvidia hardware than an equivalents AMD Card

Here are the official requirements for Need For Speed Payback.

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8 GHz or AMD FX-8150 3.6 GHz
  • RAM: 6 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon R9 270
  • DX: DirectX 11
  • HDD: 30GB Available Hard Drive Space

Need For Speed Payback Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 6GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB
  • DX: DirectX 12
  • HDD: 30GB Available Hard Drive Space

The Payback’s requirements are almost in the same area as were Need For Speed 2015’s were. Though, most of you wouldn’t have played it, if anyone did, you would know how the new game would run on your hardware. The requirements cover the old 750Ti to the newer mid range 1060 so most of us will be able to run it on our machines.

The minimum requirements are for running the game on 720p at 30 fps with low settings. If you wanna go medium, a 1050 would do it.

Those looking to play Need For Speed Payback at 1440p resolution or above are recommended to have a GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080, GTX 1080 Ti, Radeon RX Vega 56, or RX Vega 64.

A 4k 60 FPS gameplay trailer was also released alongside the requirements.
