From the moment Ubisoft revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins, we all have been excited to know more about the story, the visuals and the gameplay. Recently Ubisoft treated us with their new cinematic trailer “From Sand”.
To some people’s dismay, the trailer doesn’t feature any combat gameplay of any sorts. It rather gives us hope for a new and unique landscape and open-world of Ancient Egypt. The trailer moves across pyramids, boats and animals that slowly crumble away.
The only thing that doesn’t become sand is the new protagonist Bayek. He is arriving into the mysterious land of magic and one of the most important historical places in the world. As he walks through billows of warm orange dust, an ominous line appears on screen: “Where it ends, it begins.” For the people who are familiar with the Assassin’s Creed storyline, this depicts that Assassin’s Creed Origins is the first game in the chronological order of the game series.
In previous couple of games, one couldn’t enjoy the open world as much as in older Assassin’s Creed games like the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft took their time in developing the Assassin’s Creed origins and promises us to bring an explorable open world with vast landscapes and buildings to explore. Also we’re expecting focus on accurate historical events.
Assassin’s Creed Origins releases on October 27, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
